a while back I wrote this tutorial: https://www.sitepoint.com/writing-a-flarum-extension-building-a-custom-field/ and followed up with https://www.sitepoint.com/flarum-add-web3-address-to-user-profile/, which @askvortsov helped a lot with.
Since then, I have not been in PHP dev at all and I have fallen out of the loop with Flarum's changes (which seem to be significant), but I find myself needing a Flarum instance with Web3 integration again because I created RMRK.app and do not have time for daily dev and devops.
A new forum instance is set up on forum.rmrk.app, and I am looking for someone to hire to replicate the Web3 integration from above on a new instance, perhaps package it up as an extension people can just plug and play to get a Web3 login going. This extension would be developed under and published by the RMRK organization as fully open source and free for all.
We will pay 500 USD in fiat (or equivalent in stablecoins) to anyone willing to build this asap, and contribute a one-time donation of another 500 USD to Flarum on Opencollective or in crypto (stablecoins).
There is another task - implementing an NFT-gating mechanism for certain categories - which is an expansion of the above extension, and this is worth another 500 + 500 but obviously the former needs to be built for this to be possible.
We hope to grow the Flarum ecosystem together, and make it the de-facto Web3 forum software with this addition. It is time to dethrone Discourse.
