On error offer a way home.

On error, usually due to my session expiring I often refresh, click a link or something similar and I'm greeted with "You do not have permission to access this page." or something along those lines, this is perfectly fine however I wish the system would for users that end up in this scenario get an offer to "head to the homepage"

Unfortunately at the moment the Flarum frontend has no way of knowing it has been logged out if the page stays opened for too long. This will have to be improved in a future version.

Yes it does, it leads to unexpected behaviour.

RelicSystem which URL are you experiencing this on?

it's true that 403 error pages don't have a link back to the homepage.

However 404 error pages do, and that's what you would usually see if trying to access a discussion or profile that's only for logged in users.
