Higher rank role's content is public but the lower rank role's content isn't

I want to make a settup where my - higher rank role's content is public (visible to logged out people) but the lower rank role's content is only visible to members (people who are logged in), is it possible?

ivan006 out of the box, this would require moving user's discussions between tags, either manually or through a scheduled script.

This could certainly be implemented by an extension.

Do you mean this to be applied per-post, or per-discussion? It would be quite confusing if guests can only see parts of a discussion. Maybe you'd need something like https://discuss.flarum.org/d/29483-collapsible-posts to keep invisible posts meaningful? That extension can only be used manually at the moment though.

clarkwinkelmann from my understanding ur main question is about what type of entity am i trying to put these permissions onto. The answer is the post itself, permissions relating to any comments and replies would be inherited from the relted post. And to flesh this out more - the lower rank members would also not be able to comment or reply onto public posts.
