Cannot find translation keys to donate extension from FoF Linguist

I installed donate extension, and I did not find any posts related with this extension, so I started a new discussion.

I want to translate this extension, but I cannot find any related translation keys (Am I using the right word).

Well, Please see the following screenshots.

When I choose donate, it only shows two keys.

I added translation, then clear cache.

The translated words did not show up.

I would recommend submitting translations directly to the Weblate instance of flarum-lang! It is clearer, and all other users would also benefit directly from it... You would have to register first

It seems that the "Donate" button has a hardcoded translation: https://github.com/tagecode/flarum-donate/blob/f6b4f1453536c68bf7ba8dae94e35c05dc6b91dd/js/src/forum/components/donate.js#L11

The locale file is just a default pre-generated one that isn't actually used in the code (yet Flarum/FoF Linguist still registers it): https://github.com/tagecode/flarum-donate/blob/main/locale/en.yml

I recommend opening a new issue at the extension's GitHub repository so that the author may fix this.

Yep, Linguist doesn't care how many times a translation is actually used, it shows everything registered even if it's never used 😇 (it would be extremely difficult to actually pull off, it would require static code analysis of both PHP and javascript, and still wouldn't be enough because some extensions dynamically craft translation keys)
