I remember using Putty for the first time (years ago) when I made my first droplet. Back then, I dabbled in to learn how to make a fully managed server. I was just curious.
Then recently, Flarum forced me to use it again. It was repulsive. I mean sure, it's black and green and for a min you feel like Neo from the Matrix using it but then you start thinking to yourself, PuTTy's had years to update the terminal and it still looks the same.
After doing some YT'ing alternatives (as you do), I came across "Termius" (termius.com - a putty alternative). I fell in love with it.
Things I liked about it:
- You can resize the terminal text
- Select from a limited amount of terminal themes.
- It also saves SSH login details - which saved me time.
- They have a free & paid version.
- They don't force you to sign-up to use the free version - which was refreshing.
This got me thinking. There are developers here who know their stuff, I wonder if there's an even better alternative to Termius?
