How to configure gamification? like Flarum Proposals

This is a tutorial to understand how flarum is using gamification extension on discuss.flarum.org for upvoting system - Proposals tag

Install Gamification Extension FriendsOfFlarum

This extension also converts post likes to upvotes which we do not want. so carefully do the settings. at any point do not hit the "Convert likes to upvotes" button

If you do not see the below settings for a specific tag go to tags extension settings and click on restrict by tag and select Proposals tag (if you do not have this tag create one)

Change thumbs-up button to arrow using bellow settings angle-double caret

how do you stop it from doing that as I believe the extension does that automatically when enabled? I replicated all the settings here but still don't get the double chevrons on the right side of the first post.
