Many forums need donations to keep them running. We know that maintenance costs, infrastructure, etc. are expensive.

IPB has a very interesting plugin. We can create a similar alternative.

The many high quality extensions you have released and worked/working with @Justoverclock are amazing!

One of the reasons I went with Flarum even after struggling a lot to get it going, being a n00b - was the fact that I saw there was many free extensions - many made by you.

I've had a few rough years struggling with health issues which have lead to me having a tough time economically. Thanks to you and many others in this community I am able to pursue one of my goals to start a non-profit forum for people with adhd, autism and other neuropsychiatric difficulties.

Didnt mean to go on a rant, i'm just grateful when you turn down the opportunity to go premium (which you totally could)

While I'm sure an official extension would be better where you can donate on-site and verify the donation happened (and move a user to a 'doner' or 'premium' group as a thank you?), in the mean-time you can use the 'Html Widget' plugin and simply paste in a button to a service such as buymeacoffee or a paypal link.

In addition to paypal, having Monero donations would be cool. Monero is native to the internet, and thus it has very little friction with the traditional financial institutions. Thus, it should have less moving parts in implementing it as an extension.
