The issue

I reinstalled the latest version and then the error1 randomly when activating the extension or registered member.
I'm guessing that the nickname extension is conflicting with an extension, but I don't know which one.
Because the settings for the nickname extension were changed after I activated an extension.
Like allow setting nicknames on registration and minimum length has changed like error2.
So I want to reinstall 1.2.1 because these extensions work just fine.
What should I do? The information I found seems to be out of date

windtune you should first identify the issue and check if there's a fix available. From your error log it seems like it could be caused by the ban IP extension. You could try disabling that extension and see if the issue goes away.

We don't support rolling back Flarum versions. If you already updated your forum, the only way back is by restoring a backup.

It is possible to create new Flarum installations with older versions, but this should only be done by developers who need to run tests on older versions, this shouldn't be done in production. As such it doesn't really make sense to publish instructions for this.

This particular error seems to be a bug introduced 11 days ago in a Best Answer update that causes incompatibility between the 2 extensions. Disabling either extension should fix the issue as a workaround. The same issue would also happen with the latest version of the extensions on Flarum 1.2.x.

I installed new flarum again and the problem seems to be fixed. I activated all extensions and registered a new user to post without crashing again. The problem of erro2 (the nickname extension setting will be changed after activating an extension) still exists, but I think this is not important anymore.

The welcome box extension cannot be used as a widget in this environment. Otherwise, the homepage will be loaded infinitely after registration for members, which will cause the hot discussion widget to not be displayed normally. The strange thing is that the moderator group will not be affected. This is a minor issue, just turn off use as a widget. So I didn't do more testing.
