In fact, the proposal section with votes already kinda plays that role, you could add less specific demands!
But from my short experience (and without knowing the higher priorities of deep code, I just see what bother me in the surface), by priority order, that would be:
- 1 - A front-end for everyone to be able to host flarum themselves (I mean a total graphic interface, without line codes or anything complicated). It's already planned if I understood well.
- 2 - A tool/bar to search inside the topics. That's really THE big missing feature for me, really problematic for huge forums (like this one) with topics with 50+ messages.
- 3 - A preview system for the first post.
- 4 - An advanced search engine for the whole forum.
- 5 - An option to sort secondary tag's order.
That would be the main one, for the rest it's just several little details, but generally flarum works great.
More broadly, I would also say less extensions and more options in admin panels (for instance, it seems crazy that "don't like yourself" is a whole extension, and not an option of "like" extension), and more customization option in general (and/or more ID or class for specific elements, to make the forum more easily custumable). But that's more a question of conception of how flarum must work (I can understand the "only extension" philosophy to keep the whole thing light, for instance).
