How to create a discussion programmatically

The issue

I basically want to create discussion posts for any new entry in our blog to provide a space for the community to comment on them. Is there a way to do this in an automated manner? I could live with sending an request with curl, I just can't find a documentation of the http api and how to authenticate.

GreXXL Thank you for the answer! This looks far too hacky for my intended usage, I need something which can by maintained by our community in the long run. Isn't there an HTTP API available?

georgkrause Flarum is a SPA it literally runs on an API. You can look at the PHP API client for inspiration (https://discuss.flarum.org/d/24880-flarum-api-client-php), true documentation for the API we haven't been able to generate yet. Yet all requests that Flarum makes can be inspected to understand the payload to send.
