Blomstra Font Awesome 6

Can some one tell me what value I'm looking for on fontawesome to insert into the blomstra/fontawesome extension?
I've loaded with extension manager & enabled
I've paid FA and created a kit
There's options I don't know what to pick, there's no obvious URL although there is one in a <link rel="stylesheet" href="https://kit.fontawesome.com/hexString.css" crossorigin="anonymous">
or in
<script src="https://kit.fontawesome.com/hexString.js" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>

I'm seeing X for fa-6-pro so I've not done something right, there's no clue in the above scroll or the extension readme (why is so much of flarum guess work about what switch do, values of options etc 🙁

Try this:
1. Add this meta tag to the Custom Header, eg;

<head>
<script src="https://kit.fontawesome.com/940400877f.js" async></script>
</head>

2. Add the same meta tag URL to the FA extension interface URL field, eg;

Should hopefully do the trick for ya. 😉👍

Create a kit in the font awesome console, choose webfont. Insert the url that looks like this https://kit.fontawesome.com/<number>.js into the extension settings page.

Sometimes you also need to clear the cache if you just installed the extension or when you changed the kit url.

Anomalum 1. Add this meta tag to the Custom Header, eg;

If you add this as well as the extension setting change, you will cause your page to try to load the kit twice. Thus making your page load slower.

As in ctrl-f5? For the browser? Or a different cache?

& So I guess from this comment the Apperance Custom Header adds to the <head> part of every page ( & the extension is doing that too?) rather than being a site header?

simoninedinburgh there is a cache clearing button in the admin panel. Clearing it from here will be enough

What I always wondered. Is there a way to override the default style with this extension. So that you for example use duotone solid for every icon?

GreXXL no, but you can use fad as prefix in the icon where you can select them.

luceos yeah thanks - for all manually set icons I already figured out how to use them. It would be awesome if you could use some kind of extend of css code to also replace the default icons used throughout Flarum to have an consistent look. Thought there might be a trick I don‘t know about 😉

Some of my icons I'm using aren't working? I'm trying to use fas fa-playstation, fas fa-xbox and fas fa-discord and they all show up broken, any idea why this is?

do u try "fab fa-discord"? I know that you can only use the 'fas' prefix for solid icon.

Knoxtane as huseyinfiliz said; the fas prefix is only for font awesome solid icons, whereas fab is for font awesome brands, such as your Xbox logo

Knoxtane the extension is built on a older version of fontawesome 6; I have had this issue myself multiple times, the only way I saw around it was using a fontawesome (free) kit

Not a full update, but just added bluesky for Fedora-Fr.org requirements.
