Forum keeps hanging and discussions do not display

The issue

When I click on "All Discussions" or any of the categories/tags that have several discussions, Flarum just hangs and never resolves to display the discussions. I just get the spinning circle that never stops and the discussion do not display.

My forum is at https://songcrafting.com/forum.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot or fix this? I just launched my forum and don't want to start marketing it until I can get this resolved as it is a bad user experience.

whisperwow you should follow our troubleshooting guide and report and errors you get here. Especially error logs, browser console errors are of interest.

When the spinner keeps loading, the best place to check is the browser console. Can you try to disable this extension: https://extiverse.com/extension/justoverclock/hot-discussions and see if that helps?

luceos Thank you for the suggestion. I disabled that extension and everything seems to be loading better now.

really odd...i have hot discussion installed on flarum.it with no errors

Justoverclock I may be using an older version of your extension. It says that the author is Marco Colia, but when I try to remove it using the following command, composer basically says it can't remove it because it can't find it.

composer remove justoverclock/hot-discussions-cards:"*"
