I wrote a very trivial plugin that allows me to define custom urls like example.com/2learnmore, you can send to external URLs or internal pages, discussions, etc. I use it for flyers for easy to remember urls that link to discussions or blog posts.
it's got some sharp edges, but if anyone has a real need let me know!
