I don't know if your guys experienced this before, but I found out that whenever we edit a post that mentioned someone, the user will keep received new email notifications for each editing, even it on the same post.
The problem is that some people can take advantage of this to cause trouble just by mentioning others in their post and constantly editing it. This behavior not only consumes resources but also affects the experience of other users.
I cannot ask our users to not received notification by email to prevent this, as well as stop them from mentioning others. The best thing I can do now is set the permission for users to let them edit the post within 10 minutes after posting only.
So I wonder if we can develop any features or extension that limits the email sending in this case, or provide better practices to resolve this?
