I'm sure it's been looked at, right? TNT Search? This seems like a regularly updated, PHP, search engine with a lot of features. Would the reason for not integrating something like this be because it's too heavy?

One thing that caught my eye was boolean searching. Being able to search "cat woman OR batman."

I see there's a Scout driver for it. I could try to add it to my Scout extension.
