Split by Davis

Split allows certain groups with the split permission to separate specific posts from one discussion into their own discussion.

Note: You may recall this extension was posted on the forums as a work in progress before. @luceos asked me to take on development for this extension because Flagrow has been less than active lately. The extension was nearly finished when I forked it. I will continue development for this extension.

INSTALLATION

composer require davis/flarum-ext-split

CONFIGURATION

Enable the extension and click the tripple dash when hovering over the extension. The popup settings box allows you to configure the extension further.

    Thanks for this! I've been able to give it a first test run today. I expect you'll be developing further. One of the first things I noted as a limitation – it'd be great to split a single post from the discussion. As it is, you have to select at least two adjacent posts for splitting. It'd be great to pull out a single post into it's own thread. And, ultimately, any number of posts that aren't adjacent to one another. Thanks, again!

    You're able to take a post (or posts) and create it's own discussion for said post.
