Welcome message in different languages

Is there any way for the welcome message to show in the languages the user has chosen ? Thanks in advance.

https://discuss.flarum.org/d/31152-formatted-banner doesn't allow translating directly, but if there existed a bbcode to switch content language, you could use it in the formatted field.

It also supports HTML but no javascript so I'm not sure that part would be of any use.

I was just mentioning this since implementing an extension in such a manner would end up being useful in more ways than one, whereas creating a custom extension just for the welcome banner would only serve a single purpose.
