I agree, this would be very useful. I think the idea was brought up at some point, though I can't recall where.

Dominion I'm very sorry about my English. This feature is very useful, you can prevent malicious registration sensitive characters.

HD3D no one (had this) build yet, as far as I know.

HD3D actually, I like this extension idea and the majority of commercial forum software still out there has this built into their core. Sadly, this won't make it into Flarum's core (anytime soon anyways or at all really) but that doesn't stop a brave soul from creating an extension that handles a username blacklist during registration and when an Admin changes a user's username in said user's profile 😉

I guess for now the only solution is to create own accounts with these usersnames 😉
