cssexp I download the latest version of Flarum to install.
versus
cssexp install via composer2 create-project flarum/flarum . and it installs.
Implies you installed Flarum twice. I assume your first step seems to be the wrong one where you "downloaded" something from somewhere? The only recommended method is using composer.
As for your issue, I think you want to install Flarum into your sites subdirectory https://yoursite.com/talk
, if that's the case from the public_html this is what you need to do:
rm -rf talk
composer2 create-project flarum/flarum talk --prefer-dist --no-dev
mv talk/public/.* talk/
mv talk/public/* talk/
- follow the instructions to change the path structure as per docs: https://docs.flarum.org/install#customizing-paths. This implies:
- open your browser at
https://yoursite.com/talk
and provide information like database and admin credentials
Everything should now work.
