Change post author / migrate discussion

I had a user post to a discussion that I had intended to lock but forgot to (oops). I have created a new discussion from their posts, but all of the posts now have my user as the author (obviously). Is there a way to either (1) change a post/discussion author as an administrator, or, (2) migrate a discussion thread to a new discussion, retaining authorship?

1) Author Change extension

2) FoF Split extension
