Wellwisher Flarum devs have outlined PHP 7.4 will no longer be supported. This is fair-do's. I am happy to upgrade to 8.0. However my webhosting panel shows two versions PHP8.0 FastCGI or PHP 8.0 CGI?: I am unsure which one to pick and if it really matters?
Zeokat Short answer: FastCGI CGI is resource intensive. Unless you have a specific need to run CGI you should pick fastCGI.
