I know that fediversification is in the works, but I am sorry to report, Flarum will also need a Matrix client extension. "Sorry" because these things are a lot of work and I can't help much. 😊
I just easily installed a chat box on my WordPress blog that connects to any Matrix server. Then whoever has one of the clients can chat with me at any time.
