Can i do this when i post in tags?

Hi, I created a tag and a sub tag (a tag inside another tag). The question is this. Imagine that the tag is called A and the sub tag is called B.

When I publish a topic in tag A it appears in tag A, but when I publish a topic in tag B it appears in tag A and in sub tag B. My question is if there is any way that the topic that is create in tag A only appear there, and the topic that is create in sub tag B only appears in sub tag B, not in tag A and sub tag B.

Algo sorry no, that's not possible. Parent A always shows discussions part of itself and any children. Something like this would be possible using a fork of the Tags extension or perhaps even simpler as an extension modifying the logic of the tags extension though. Flarum is heavily extension driven, and usually anything you see can and should be extensible.

There's no way to change the default view natively, but if you want to see all discussions that only have the parent tag, you can craft a search URL that uses the tag: and -tag: gambits to include and exclude specific tags and sub-tags, for example to see discussions under the Resources tag here on Discuss without any specific subtags: https://discuss.flarum.org/?q=tag:resources%20-tag:utilities%20-tag:services%20-tag:tutorials%20-tag:styles
