A shortcut menu to navigate with tags

Hello,

When we are on a discussion, the side nav disappears. To be able to navigate via tags or private discussions, you have to go back to home page.

I think it would be nice to be able to add a shortcut menu at the top beside the logo (ou elsewhere) where the tags would be there. A menu where if you click on it, you get list of tags and others. Thus, we could navigate anywhere without returning to the home page each time.

You could as a sort of solution use links plug-in - https://discuss.flarum.org/d/18335-friendsofflarum-links

Then setup the links to your tags and then they will display at the top. Probably not the best solution but I’ll have a look today and see if I can make something

Yes, I use this extension for the moment, but it's not ideal if you have more than 5 tags / under-tags....

Wlork apologies I only started going to look at this today but I did a quick search of GitHub and came across this

EDIT :

@LiamKenyon I finally used the FoF Links extension 🙂

I hadn't noticed that you could add sub-items. So I was able to create a small menu with the main tags at the top beside logo 🙂
