Tag as a link?

Is there a way or an extension that would allow you to create a tag and set a url for it, say for an external page or site?

Thank you @clarkwinkelmann for placing this in the correct area, I realized after the fact what I had done but wasn't sure how to fix it.

Basically I'm wanting a primary tag that is actually a url that redirects to another site.

I don't think such an extension exists at time time.

The easiest would probably be to use the javascript extension API to inject an additional link on the tags page or tags sidebar and then use custom CSS or the existing class names to style it like a tag link.

It's one of those things that are mostly straightforward if you already develop a custom theme for your forum, it's just a few additional lines of javascript. Making an extension that allows customizing it from a user interface is a lot more complex, similar to the FoF Links extension.
