post getting flagged, but notification not dissapearing after viewing post

I made a testaccount on my freeflarum forum to test out some things such as reporting/flagging posts. When a user flags a post. The moderator gets a notification. But there is no way to remove the flag or let the notification disappear. So moderators keep having a "flagged" notification.

_S_1_M_0_N_ when you visit the post (by clicking the notification or finding it via another way), there should be a border around the post with a message saying it's flagged. At the top of the post next to the flag reason there should be a button to dismiss the flag. It can't be done from the flag dropdown.

If you don't see the flag dismiss control on a post, maybe there's an issue with one of the third-party extension that causes that element to be invisible.

Hi. Sorry for late reply. I thought I already replied but apparently forgot to sent it.

I don't see that flag after clicking the notification. There's no border whatsoever. I tested it by disabling OXO theme but no result. Also The Arisem theme gave no result.

But later I wasn't even able to change own usergroups using admin account, so there might be a permission error.

_S_1_M_0_N_ Update: for some kind of reason, it seems to work and show a "flagged border" when I create a testuser with no permissions (just member) and flag a post. I don't know why the other flag, created using a moderator acccount, doesnt show that.

sorry for reactivating this old post, but actually I stumple across this problem as well. I have a list of a dozen of flagged (but already resolved) topics, the marker still doesn't get away. My moderators complain about that as well.
Any ideas how I can resolve this on the database maybe?
