Error 500 - problem with .htaccess

Hello everyone, my webhosting does not allow composer to be used in any way, so I used option of installing Flarum with composer on localhost and after configuring, I transferred it to FTP. Flarum worked perfectly on localhost, but after opening the website popped up error 500. Subsequently, I learned from the support that flarum in .htaccess uses a directives not allowed by my hosting, for example Options -MultiViews. Any chance to fix this? Flarum is, in my opinion, the only good system for clear and modern forums (unlike phpBB) and I have not found any suitable alternative. Thanks

JakubSvec try removing those lines that are not allowed by the server, you can also ask your webhosting provider for assistance on this; our htaccess instructions aren't really that unusual.

Hello again,

I got the Flarum up and running, unfortunately there was a new problem that could be related to the solution to the previous problem (disabling Options -MultiViews in .htaccess). If I create a new post (Test), I am redirected to http://website.xy/public/d/4-test from the start page. However, this page cannot be loaded, the text "Oops! Something went wrong. Please reload the page and try again." appears here. After refreshing the page, PHP error messages will appear (look at the picture).

JakubSvec disable PHP warnings in production. See your web host management console or edit php.ini directly

Unfortunately it didn't help me. In addition, the error also started to appear in the user's detail. Could this be related to Flarum being installed locally and then moved to the server?

JakubSvec if the error message is still the same, then the fix was not done properly in php.ini

Make sure you edit the correct php.ini (there is one for each installed PHP version and one for command line and webserver). If in doubt, you can make the fix in all of them.

If you can't locate the config file or apply the changes permanently, consult your web hosting documentation or contact their support.
