We currently use @FriendsOfFlarum upload but even that is not enough. It doesn't have to have special effects either, but at least you should be able to scroll through it normally.
You can't tag posts without it bouncing back and forth all the time. That's my only really bad thing about Flarum! Otherwise I think it's great.
