Migration order from one VPS to another?

I have an old Flarum forum and did a database dump from this. Now I have Installed a new forum on a fresh VPS and want to migrate the dump into the new forum. And I got this screen:

In which order should I restore the old dump.

Restore > Fill in the screenshot above
Fill in the screenshot above > Restore
Or is there a third option?

My concern is that the table columns may differ from different versions of Flarum?

Post your output of php flarum info. I do not know where to find this :-)

Sibert it doesn't need to be in that exact order but the following steps can be followed

Install Flarum files and all your previous extensions. Easiest way is to copy composer.json from old server or entire Flarum folder and run composer install to install everything like before
Import old database to new server (using phpMyAdmin or other MySQL admin tool)
Restore assets and storage files (avatars and any file stored by extensions)
Manually create config.php file and fill in the new database credentials. Easiest way is to copy the config.php from the old server and change just the database username and password. Alternately you can follow the wizard, create a a throwaway database and admin account, then delete that database and edit the freshly created config.php to point to your other database where you have imported the backup. Or drop all tables from the throwaway database and import the backup there after the wizard

Basically the information entered in the web wizard would not be used when you migrate server. It's only meant to setup a new forum. All Flarum needs is a valid config.php when migrating and it will be able to pick up the manually imported backup.

And where can I find config.php?

Sibert you can see where the file is on your old server. It's found in Flarum "base" folder, which is usually the same folder that contains the flarum, site.php and composer.json files.

The file does not exist when you download a fresh copy of Flarum, it will be created by the installation wizard or can be manually created/copied.

Sibert well, something must be wrong with the credentials. This is not a Flarum specific issue.

Some ideas to troubleshoot further: do you have other websites with database on the same server, are you able to connect to the database locally, or remotely using the mysql command line ? You can also try to install a separate fresh copy of Flarum on the same server with a different database or prefix to see whether or works there.

Exactly what do you mean with "credentials"?

To me it is host, db, pw and user. All is there and all is present at the mysql database.
Note that i have updated the log. Now the error in the log is:

For some reason, the flarum database was gone. It was there some minutes ago :-)

But now I encounter different problems. All icons and my logo are gone...

How can I restore them? Avatars was simple to restore.

Sibert run php flarum assets:publish (I hope I'm remembering the command correctly, if that's incorrect you should be able to find the right name by running php flarum list to see all available commands)

After migrating an old forum to a new VPS, finally the forum is up and running. All seems to be OK except all icons ar missing..

@clarkwinkelmann suggested to run php flarum assets:publish but this does not work.

I run pagespeed.web.dev and it reported this "bug":

…fonts/fa-solid-900.woff2:1:0 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

It seems that the problem is connected with the Awesome fonts in some way. But I cannot figure out how to fix this problem.

TIA for any clue how to solve this.

Sibert first things first, if flarum cannot be opened you are most likely in the wrong directory. Find the directory that contains config.php and flarum and composer.json etc. Then run the command Clark suggested.
