I joined this forum 2 days ago. I started by reporting a bug about the GitHub popup scroll on Firefox and yesterday I replied to a few discussion. I followed a few discussions and updated my bio.
Today I opened the Forum again on my phone and got a "You don't have permission to do that" red popup. It seems I was no longer connected. I clicked the "Log In" button, then the "Log in with GitHub" button. I was prompted with the screen which asks for my username, with my email in a read-only field below. It was strange (maybe I clicked on "Sign Up") so I clicked on "Log In" again, but the same happened. So I clicked next on the username screen and got back to the site.
Except... I lost everything. Everything is unread, my posts disappeared (including the discussion I started under Support), my following, my bio, ...
I just logged in on my Computer to have a look. I was also disconnected. Here the login worked without prompting me with the username screen. But everything has still disappeared...
So, hum... Is that a bug or something was rolled back in the last two days ? Did I somehow registered a second time with the same username, erasing my previous account with the same username and email and GitHub account ?
I'm a bit sad at the moment... I can't participate in this Forum if everytime I have to log in again everything disapears ? But if this helps resolve a critical bug it may be worth the disaster.
Note: for instance I created this discussion: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/3386-cannot-scroll-in-github-signup-popup which now returns 404
