How to install extensions

Hi
I want to develop a extension. Basically a extend for another extension. Another provider.
But I don't know where I need to start to. All links and tutorials even offcial documentations are outdated and doesn't help in any way.

So how do I "insert" my extension that modifys another extension?
I used the flarum-cli but it is doing nothing. I only read it removes selfmade extensions instead of "composer update" it when it is in wrong directory, which is extensions and its the only folder were all my extensions are installed...

My idea is: Create a modified oAuth/amazon provider for the extension fof/oauth

You need to execute flarum-cli commands from the root of your installation. If you get stuck please add more information related to what command you executed where and what the output was. We'll gladly help you, but some effort from your side to help us fully understand your complications goes a long way, we're not psychic 😉
