When you visit flarum.org, one of the first things you see is a list of posts with the first one titled "Flarum 1.0.0 released". When viewed on a laptop-sized screen, it is not obvious that this is not a listing of current posts but rather a screenshot of a Flarum page taken many years ago. Since then, I've been viewing the homepage about once a year to check on the progress of the project, and the first few times I saw the screenshot, it fooled me into thinking the development had stalled at 1.0.
Today, I noticed that the same outdated screenshot is in the revised homepage mockup: next.flarum.org, so I decided to finally say something. My recommendation is to screenshot a listing from a forum that is not about Flarum development, e.g., a forum about animals or movies or coffee, etc. (It could be from a real forum or a mockup.) Also, the screenshot can be made to look distinct from the actual homepage through use of a drop shadow and/or a slight rotation of the image.
