@muhammedsaidckr Hi, this plugin works great for me. Thanks to the Database Queue plugin, I can use Gemini 1.5 Pro. Normally, I had to use the 1.5 Flash version because Gemini 1.5 Pro responded very slowly.
You mentioned that you added features like responding with the @mention option in the ChatGPT plugin. I'm curious if you have plans to develop this (gemini) extension further.
When using Database Queue, if the API response is slow, Gemini can respond to a newly created topic in less than a minute, which is not a problem for me—in fact, it's even better.
The issue is that comments made by the AI do not increase the comment count of the discussion, nor do they send notifications for new comments. Perhaps when the AI responds, it could mention the person who started the discussion if the mentions extension is enabled. I thought this might allow notifications to be sent. Alternatively, I haven’t examined the extension in detail, but if comments are not being saved in the database, they could potentially be sent as comments through the Flarum API. I can’t say for sure without testing this.
Also, even though I turned off the "Enable when a discussion is started" feature in the admin panel, it still only responds to the topic starter. The user I assigned is not an admin, and "use Gemini assistant" is only allowed for administrators. I need to change these settings and test them.
In summary, I want to know if you have plans to develop the plugin further. If I don’t receive a response for a while, I plan to make some adjustments to the plugin myself
