First of all, I hope I'm asking my question in the correct category; if not, I apologize.
I want to open a website focusing on comparisons. That is, a site where users can ask questions like "Should I buy the Samsung Galaxy S24 or the iPhone 15?" and find answers.
What I want to ask is:
Technically, I am not very knowledgeable except for installing WordPress and taking cPanel backups, but I think I can install Flarum, maybe with a little help 🙂
So, here's my question. I want to open a site focusing on comparisons. That is, a site where users can ask questions like "Should I buy the Samsung Galaxy S24 or the iPhone 15?" and find answers.
Therefore, besides the question-answer feature, I will also need a few additional features. For example, when a user opens a topic, they should be required to add a minimum of 2 options (like Apple vs Samsung, for instance).
Also, the incoming responses should be votable, and users should be able to vote on both of the 2 options, and see the result when they enter the topic.
Users should be able to easily register with Google, Facebook, etc.
Lastly, I also want to be able to turn the site into a mobile app. So, having a mobile application would be great.
Now, based on your expertise, can I fulfill these requirements using Flarum? If the answer is yes, can I easily achieve this with various plugins as in WordPress? Or do I need to get support from an expert developer?
