I edited the Custom CSS and now I cant see the login button

Good day,

I was trying to remove the SIgn ip option from the site using custom CSS.
My change to make the sign in hidden was a failure and now the sign up and log in options are missing.

I have gone as far as remove the CSS changes from custom_less from the database.

how can I push the system to regenerate?

Can anyone recomend a way to replce the sign-up infomation in the pop up to just have text where I can tell them to email for a manual account. that why I can vet who is signing up.

I was able to edit the CSS in Chrome and chenge the hidden of .Form-group {visibility: hidden;} back to Visible and was able to log back into the admin portal. then remove the other bad portions of the custom CSS and save.

Everything is back to normal.

CSS isn't really a reliable way of turning off something like signups anyway, especially if you start getting some bot traffic to the site. A common feature forums have is an approval queue where registrations will only be completed once approved by admin/moderators/whoever. Not sure if there is an extension for this already though.

If you encounter this issue again, after editing the value in the database you can clear the cache with the php flarum cache:clear command.

You can also bring up the login modal by typing app.modal.show(flarum.core.compat['components/LogInModal']) in the browser javascript console while on any Flarum page.

Ah yes I didn't even comment on that part, if you want to disable sign up, there's an option for that in the Flarum admin panel. It's on the Permissions Page: "Sign up: Open/Closed". The button will automatically disappear when Sign up is closed.
