In-Thread Cover/Cards

I am writing this extension proposal knowing fully that it is probably not super sought after.
I can see this being impractical unless the browser resolution/viewport is of a certain size but:
Using the cover extension image maybe and using the bio as information. This would be a static card as well as the hover over version that is currently in flarum. Like the current cards, users without images inputted could have the colour associated with their account.

Rough mockup, I think a minimal border would be quite nice and let each post show some more. Blurred the users post so you have to look on the site 😛

My forum has an interesting place since its on flarum and modern but also has users who appreciate older style forums. For this reason i'd like to give users more ways to express themselves/add a bit more personality to the page.
Whilst extremely niche, if it wouldn't be that much work i'd be willing to pay for the development of it

Let me know if you think it sounds good/if there are any surprise features you think would benefit this kind of extension.

I really think you need to explain exactly what behavior you expect. The mockup is there, vaguely, but when that information is shown or with which user interaction, is unclear.

Functionality I would imagine it to use the information from the fof/user-bio extension and the user cover photo and on screens wider than X (we'd figure that out) so that some of the more empty space is used on desktop. Those two would have to be dependencies
I wouldn't imagine much different from what you expect when you hover over a users name in a thread now.

Visually it would be similar to the way most forums display threads, rather than relying on a mouse hover over username/picture to show the card info.
Ideally i'd like each user to be able to set whether or not they want it on, with an admin setting the default for logged in and/or guests. For extra clarification the blur on the mock up wouldn't be there.
