Franz i installed xamp on my machine along side composer. i used xamp because wamp was giving me error that i am not ready to figure out. after installing composer i couldnt find how to run the composer as thaught by https://discuss.flarum.org/d/2047-how-to-install-flarum-on-localhost-and-shared-hosting-tutorial so i pasted the code that will install flarum in command window just like that but it didnt work. so i re installed composer reading everything on the installation screen exept terms and agreement. so i noticed an instruction which is to type 'composer' in comand window to run composer..before then it took me time to figure out how to open cimmand window. so i have to restart my machine, maybe its from my WINDOWS 8. after typing composer i typed flarum insallation code. flarum was downloaded to my machine and i tested it on my local host it was sweet. i uploaded it to my cpanel and i got an error. so i contacted my host to apply appache mod rewrite. yet the prolem persists so i quicly googled it and saw where you said that php 5.5 is the minimum requirment so i asked them to my php version they said 5.4 i told them to upgrade to 5.5 which they did and it worked then i created database and put the istallation details and install flarum

It seems the flarum part worked pretty good and your issues were with getting composer downloaded and working correctly.
While I wouldn't call that an issue with the flarum installation, it is a component of it.
Unfortunately, windows computers apparently don't seem to have the terminal (command window) to be easily accessible, making composer (a command line interface only program) a difficult thing to run. Especially if you've never run a cli program before!

Installation will get easier for the stable release. It can be a bit rough at the moment, but that's why it's called a beta. ?

Franz i heard the stable version is coming soon, how true

A stable Flarum release won't be coming anytime soon, specially with Toby at school, and Flarum will probably go through a couple more betas before that.
Expect a stable version in more than a year.

EDIT: Franz somewhere talked about an earlier stable release with less features than planned.
