thatgerhard Title says it all. Currently when I switch off view forums for non logged in users, all of it is gone. I would like the listing to remain in place, but clicking into a discussion required you to log in. Does an extension exist for this?

clarkwinkelmann thatgerhard can you provide more details ? I don't understand the difference ? Which listing ? The homepage discussion list should not be impacted by the extension, except for the summaries not being shown anymore if the first post content is hidden.
thatgerhard @clarkwinkelmann after more testing this actually does what I need. If I could have a dream feature it would be to exclude certain posts when you set it to hide the 1st one as well. In my case I have terms and policies posts which I would like to leave available to see the 1st post while the rest must be hidden.
clarkwinkelmann thatgerhard you should be able to use the tag scoped permissions to allow all users to always read all discussions under specific tags. Use the + sign at the top of the permissions page to create tag scoped permissions
thatgerhard @clarkwinkelmann my community is divided into geographical regions using tags, so excluding single posts within a geographical region doesn't seem possible
