Toby In my opinion, there is a good reason actually for not allowing self-Likes: Self-likes gives an incorrect impression about what people other than the poster think about the post — because the readers think the like vote is not from the poster.
Now I think this barely matters, I'm writing this comment just to test Flarum :- )
