I have a hard time understanding the issue. My extension doesn't change anything to the way a post gets approved, only which ones get flagged for approval. And I think I only listen to the Started and Replied events so it shouldn't trigger again for an existing post, unless another extension caused the one-time event to be dispatched again
Maybe one of the auto moderation extension re-flags the discussion every time?
