How disable image uploads for "avatars only".

I would really like to keep the forum visually clean and tidy so is maybe someone able to provide a code snippet* wich disables explicitly JUST avatar img uploads?

*: Like a code snippet for the custom header / footer text area via Admin > appearance.

You'll still need custom CSS if you want to hide the avatar circle and the default avatar within.

Thanks for the link to the extension and the info about its capabilities.
I actually like the letter avatars and i would also rather keep it that way, just no Hello Kitty or Naruto images...
