How do i add a clickable link in the tag description ?

At the moment, tag descriptions don't support anything other than plain text. You'd need to create an extension, probably a fork of the tags extension, that would allow this behavior.

This has been suggested before, and may be added when Toby gets around to overhauling the Tags extension.

100% agree, I came searching just to see if that could be done.

My usage case is if there is guidance on how to use a particular area, it would be nice to be able to click a link in the tag description, rather than use stickies.

DavecUK raw HTML support is unlikely, but I could see us adding support to use a markdown formatter in tag descriptions.

askvortsov Yup, for me it;s simply the ability to ad a link e.g. see here

Saves a huge long explanation in tags and ties everything together on the site...especially bigger ones.

Hello any updates on this? Really need to add links <a href> in my tag descriptions!
