I understand that child tags are really just primary tags that visually appear to be within another category, however, I think it would be very beneficial to have child tags be "behind" their parent tag in the URL slug.
For example, I have a parent tag called "food" which resides at domain.com/t/food
I also have a child tag called "apple" which resides at domain.com/t/apple
I would like the URL for the child tag to be domain.com/t/food/apple
Does anyone know if there is a way to somehow get this behavior changed? I'd like to do it now, as early as possible, that way I don't rank well on SEO, and then somehow mess it all up. Maybe a redirect plugin would save that, I'm not sure.
