Recently, I had tried to do a global update through the extension manager, and that messed up my forum badly. I managed to recover the vendor and composer.json, but it was still shakey.
Today, I backed up my original forum, and my database. Then I installed a new instance on a clean database then pointed it to my original database. Everything seemed fine, until I started reinstalling extensions, a lot of them had their data recovered, but a lot of them were not functioning properly, I tried purging it and reinstalling it, but nothing worked.
Is there a better way to reinstall the forum and extensions?
