luceos I'm using the latest flarum release. Is there any way I can fix this myself. Is there a file I could edit?

luceos This was never fixed, as the discussion about using HTML or text was never finished.
It is currently marked for v1.0, but you can find some hacky way to fix the problem in some comments, @johnanisere

1. Is there a way to select which posts display in the all discussions and which do not?
2.Is there a way to hide a tag so as not to be seen/or even usable by every one except mods and admin?

1. Yes, if you're using Tags, you can edit the Tag itself to show in All Discussions or not.
2. Yes, via the Permissions page. You can Restrict By Tag and choose a tag and its associated permissions. Note that these are hierarchical, if you don't give someone permission to a primary tag, they won't be able to access a sub-tag.

jordanjay29 thank you for your response.i know exactly what you said but it doesn't answer my question.i want to manually select the threads to appear on all discussions,i don't want them all to appear by default,something like front page where you hand pick the threads you want on there. johnanisere There's no such feature at this time. I'd suggest you create a new topic in Feedback > Features and request it with a detailed explanation of what you want.
