Another infinite scroll discussion

I know this has been talked about quite a bit, but I wanted to share a solution I found (a while ago) that I thought got closer to solving the problem.

It was posted back in 2014 on the Google Webmaster Central Blog

I tried searching for it but could not find anything. So I wanted to know what you all thought of this. It still leaves the issue of the back button, but I feel it would solve some of the other potential issues e.g. having a footer, more control, jumping to specific page when returning to a old discussion, etc.

That's all, btw I registered an account pretty soon after this demo forum was created, but it appears to have been deleted (because I have registered the same name again), I was wondering why this was?

NodeBB offers both. I saw the option in profile for pagination last day.

@Toby @Franz , have you guys seen the webmasters link in first post ? Looks like infinite scrolling is not much welcome with Google.

a forum system will dynamically update, forum is not a single post like blog or static content ?
I have hundred thousands posts crawl by Google, even Google like to "eat it", but sometime duplicate content from different approach of pagination also occurs. And unnecessary index will show over Google.

What I like is 1 indexing Google = 1 thread discussion ?

And personally, I dont like every user's post "eat by google"..

Well, is challenge for Flarum How to see this case.

Hello, so does it mean that you get better SEO results with Flarum when compared to the other forum platform you used before?

The SEO came from old forum engine, not Flarum yet.. ?

I don't have a plan, yet.. Submitting new "flarum" sitemap or registering my new address to Google.
Mostly, untill now, hundreds of daily visitor (online at a time) still browsing my old forum engine.., not Flarum. But, when they're click any link on that, will directed to new Flarum engine

I am still curious and wait see, Will Flarum still implement the "Auto-magically Forwarding" the discussion ID, when 404 or Slug has been changed..? So, I Need @jordanjay29 @Toby clarification later when Flarum Stable release.. ?
