luceos Yes, I'm using the "mark unread", that's great. But because threads are automatically marked as read when they're viewed, the system is too fragile. (I might look at a thread, decide I can't answer it just now, and meanwhile it's become marked as read, and I forget to re-mark it as unread... not great).
So my request would be to have a user preference to disable the "auto mark as read" -- when enabled posts would remain marked as unread unless you specficially mark them as read.
