target= _blank for youtube videos

Is there any way to make it so that any YouTube link posted in the forum uses target= _blank to go to YouTube?
I have noticed that any Embedded YouTube videos wether on the website or in the forum do not show ads.

YouTube is of no help and if you search about this, you will find it happens to a lot of creators and there is lost revenue.

I don't think there's any drop-in solution at the moment, but the target value can absolutely be customized using the PHP extension API. I don't know of any example to link to unfortunately.
