Migrating to a server with a later version of Flarum

Hi folks, i'm using an old version of centos with the following old components:
Flarum1.1.1
PHP7.3.33
MySQL
10.1.48-MariaDB

Is it possible to stand up the latest version of flarum and it's depenancies on a fresh box and import my flarum forum data to it? Or does the versioning need to match between source and destination servers?

MartinJD yes that's possible. Make sure to run php flarum migrate once you imported the database. Preferably don't use the web updater, because it can potentially time out.

luceos Thanks Luceos. I'll probably give this a go over xmas. Do you guys have a flavour of linux that you suggest? Was on Centos but thinking about going with Ubuntu LTS.

MartinJD any flavor works, in the end it's all about good configuration anyway.
