Imgur App Opening in iOS

The issue

So I have some users who are are posting videos to Imgur then posting the link into Flarum.

The embedded links work fine.#

However on iOS / Safari they don't play without launching into Imgur app whilst at the same time playing in full screen mode which is a bit of a weird experience.

In Chrome on Windows the embedded videos play instantly and loop.

Is there anyway to at least to not load Imgur as an app from the webpage when playing the video.

Imgur isn't officially allowing them being used as a cdn.

If the implementation differs per browser and device then I would say this can't easily be solved unless for/formatting is able to render these files properly.
